Timothy Raymond Gorman, 54, of Manchester, died unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, at his home.

Tim was born June 26, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Edwin G. Gorman and the late Joan (Wollenhaupt) Gorman. He grew up in South Windsor and graduated from South Windsor High School in 1982. Tim worked most of his life in sales. He was a happy, outgoing, charismatic, and social man who loved his family. A loving and devoted father, his children were very special to him. He was a hard worker and had a talent for cooking. Tim was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

Along with his father, Edwin of Manchester, he leaves his son, Travis Gorman of Vernon; his daughter, Danielle Gorman of Manchester; his siblings, Todd Gorman and his wife, Valerie Taylor, of South Windsor, Gina Renee Gorman and her wife, Laura, of Simsbury, and Thomas Gorman and his wife, Wendy, of South Windsor; and his nephew and niece, Patrick and Meghan Gorman of South Windsor.

His family will receive friends Saturday, Oct. 13, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lutz Children's Museum, 247 South Main St., Manchester, CT 06040.
