Todd Scott Cote, of Enfield, passed from his earthly journey at the age of 36, on March 29, 2013.

Todd was born on May 6, 1976, in Springfield, resided in Enfield most of his life as well as Minnesota and Washington state. He was a graduate of Fermi High School, Enfield, Class of 1994, and also attended Franklin Pierce College. Todd was a skilled self-employed carpenter and enjoyed woodworking, having made many wooden crafts. He had a passion for music and played many instruments, also enjoyed art, hiking, camping, kayaking, traveling, animals, and spending time with family and friends. Todd was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. His girls were his pride and joy. He had been involved with the Big Brothers program for several years.
Todd is survived by his mother, Brenda (Hanson) Cote Brouillette and husband, Michael, of Enfield; his father, Joseph R. Cote and companion, Mirva Velez, of Hartford; his daughters, Elia L. Cote and Anna T. Cote; and their mother, Sally Lansing of Duluth, Minn.; his maternal grandparents, Howard and Thelma Hanson of Enfield; his two brothers, Colin Cote of Manchester and Nathan Cote, and his wife, Melanie, of East Longmeadow, Mass; along with his nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Felix and Gladys Cote; an aunt, Linda Forrest; an uncle, Bob Cote; and a cousin, Louise Gunderson.
The family would especially like to thank Detective Chamberland for his compassion and professional service, the Enfield Police Department, State of Connecticut canine, and fire departments for their time and efforts in the search for Todd.
Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Saturday, April 27, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. followed by a memorial and remembrance service with Mary Ellen Killeen officiating at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield. Interment will then take place in the Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield.
