Valeda Byram Bouchard, 91, of Belleview, Florida, formerly from Vernon, passed away Nov. 30, 2018.

She was born Dec. 7, 1926, in Canada. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Ozithee (Gagnon) Byram.

She is survived by her children, Gloria Trapp and her husband, Ronald, of Vernon and Nina Dufresne and her husband, Daniel, of Belleview; a grandson, Jason Dufresne and his wife, Sarah; two great-grandchildren, Cody and Camden Dufresne; two brothers, Delmer and Ronald; and one sister, Evelyn. She was predeceased by her husband, Jean W. Bouchard and five brothers, Nelson, Percy, Amos, Wilbur, Wilfred; and three sisters, Rose, Pauline, and Anita.

Relatives and friends may join the family at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, for a funeral home service at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville. Burial will follow at Grove Hill Cemetery in Vernon.

In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to Hospice of Marion County, P.O. Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478-4860, Attn: Philanthropy Department.
