Victoria E. "Vicki" Bonelli, 93, of Broad Brook, wife of the late Joseph A. Bonelli, died peacefully at home on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, surrounded by her loving family.

Vicki loved her volunteer work, which included 23 years helping with Red Cross blood drives, 15 years as an information guide at Bradley International Airport, and in excess of 10,000 hours over the last 23 years as an auxiliary volunteer at Rockville General Hospital. She loved to read, do crosswords and jumbles, and grow beautiful violets and geraniums, and most of all her volunteer work.
Vicki is survived by her son, Joseph (Joyce) Bonelli of Broad Brook; and her daughter, Christine (Richard) Zampiceni of Ellington. She will be missed by her five grandchildren, Dianne (Allan) Nelson of Somers, Michael (Cheryl) Zampiceni of Agawam, Mass., Rebecca Bonelli of Broad Brook, Katharine (Luke) Bauer of Enfield, and Amanda (Andrew) Wallace of Suffield; as well as her six great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a brother, Armand Regalbuti of Suffield; and a sister, Irma Default of Agawam, Mass.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Feb. 25, at noon in St. Catherine Church, 4 Windsorville Road, Broad Brook. Burial in St. Catherine Cemetery is private.
There are no visiting hours.
