Vincent A. Amato, 72, of Vernon, beloved husband of the late Lese (Grant) Amato, passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2018.

He was born Nov. 9, 1945, in Farmington, the son of the late Philip and Mary (Cartonio) Amato.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Pam Amato of Wolcott, Philip and Angela Amato of Manchester; a daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Kevin Davignon of West Haven; longtime girlfriend, Cynthia Corvo; his brothers and sisters-in-laws, Philip and Aleta Amato, Neal and Gloria Amato; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Felicia and Joe Farnham, Marianne Jensen, and Marwan Emam; his grandchildren, Shyanna, Alexa, Nicole, Nicholas, Scott, and Bryan; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 12, at noon at the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown.
