Virginia Fritze Obituary

Virginia "Ginny" (Hosegood) Fritze, 77, of Enfield, loving wife of the late Rene J. Fritze, entered into eternal rest on April 10, 2013, at home with her family by her side.

Virginia was born July 10, 1935, in Worcester, Mass., the daughter of the late William and Ethel (Duke) Hosegood.

Virginia is survived by her four children, Kevin Fritze, and his wife, Michelle, of Enfield, Dawn Lovari, and her husband, Michael of West Islip, N.Y., Michael Fritze, and his wife, Mary, of Windsor Locks, and Nancy Fritze, and her fiancé, Joseph Gamba, of New York, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren, Amber, Phillip, Justin, Nicolette, Hannah, Elizabeth, Justin, Alyssa, Ashley, and Amanda; five great-grandchildren, Preston, Jackson, Katrina, Connor, and Jayden; a brother, Richard Hosegood, and his wife, Lorraine, of Florida; good friends, William and Judy Bowes of Massachusetts and Jennifer Rice of Enfield; neighbors, Loretta and Rich Davenport, Diane and Mike Mozes; and many nieces and nephews. Virginia was predeceased by a brother, William Hosegood, and four sisters, Joan Bruce, Muriel Walsh, Marilyn Morton, and Carol Daigneault.

Relatives and friends can join the family on Friday, April 12, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield.

Funeral services for Virginia will be celebrated on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Virginia may be made to North Central Hospice and Palliative Care through Visiting Nurse & Health Services of Connecticut, 8 Keynote Drive, Vernon, CT 06066; or the American Lung Association of Connecticut, 45 Ash St., East Hartford, CT 06108-3272.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We know how you feel because of the recent loss of Dennis's mom too. I am sorry we did not attend due to finding out that my Aunt passed away as well. Not a good year I tell you. Let the good memories and laughs get you through the times.
