Sister Rosemary Zawada passed into eternal life at the age of 92 on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Holy Family Care Center.

Sister Rosemary was 74 years with the Felician Sisters in religious life. She was born on Feb. 1, 1921, in Staten Island, N.Y., the daughter of the late Mark and Mary (Pyra) Zawada. She worked in the Testing Center at Our Lady of the Angels Academy in Enfield.
Calling hours for Sister Rosemary will be held today, Jan. 28, 2014, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Felician Sister's Convent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, 1315 Enfield St., Enfield. Burial will follow in St. Adalbert's Cemetery in Enfield.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Felician Sister's Retirement Fund, 1315 Enfield St., Enfield, CT 06082.
