Marguerite "Margie" Lombardo, 94, of Manchester, the wife of Salvatore P. Lombardo died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Hartford Hospital.

Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late John and Angeline Donofrio, and had lived in Manchester for many years. Margie enjoyed painting, traveling, and her weekly trips to the casino. She had retired from United Tool & Die after over 50 years of service.

Besides her husband she is survived by her grandchildren, John Lahda, and his wife, Anna, of Rocky Hill, Blake O'Reilly of Windsor, Patrick O'Reilly, and his wife, Kimberly, of Belgium, Maureen Elgi O'Reilly of Switzerland, and Charles Lahda of Manchester; four great-grandchildren, especially a special great-grandson whom she adored, John-Vincent Lahda; her son-in-law, John Lahda of Manchester; her brother, Ralph Donofrio, and his wife, Marie, of East Hartford; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her children, Charles O'Reilly and Margaret Lahda; and her brothers, Anthony, Michael, Jimmy, Al, Fred, and Billy Donofrio; and her sister, Mary Lepri.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30, at 10:30 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. James Church, 896 Main St., Manchester, followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
