Arthur "Art" C. Legault, 78, of Enfield, loving husband of the late Mary (Quirk) Legault, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014.

Art was born April 19, 1935, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of the late Philibert and Eva (Parent) Legault. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Enfield in 1985. Art proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a dedicated parishioner of Holy Family Church. Art retired from Fed Ex after 17 years as a senior aircraft mechanic. He spent the winter months in Tucson, Ariz., and enjoyed family gatherings and cooking lobsters for family and friends.
Art is survived by a son, Phillip Legault of Enfield, and his daughter, Tara; several nieces and nephews; and close friends, Joan Mason and Bonnie Damonte. In addition to his late wife, he was also predeceased by two brothers, Albert and Raymond Legault; two sisters, Eleanor Robinson and Shirley Fund; and a niece, Lorraine Robinson.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield.
A funeral procession will gather on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at 9 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Road, Enfield. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery.
