Mary Canevari, 100, formerly of East Hartford, beloved wife of the late John Canevari, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014.

Born in Salisbury, daughter of the late August and Marie (Donate) Veronese, she lived in East Hartford most all of her life. Mary retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, East Hartford. She loved bingo and playing cards, and gardening, especially her rose garden. She also enjoyed ice cream, especially banana splits.

She leaves her daughter, Nettie Deragon of Bristol, Vt.; her daughter-in-law, Beverly Canevari of Enfield; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by sons, John Jr. and James; and a granddaughter, Laurie Canevari.

Her family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at Parkway Pavilion who provided such exceptional care to Mary.

Her family will receive friends Saturday, March 8, 2014, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Riverside Cemetery, Windsor.
