Pamela Kathryn (Tripp) Salminen, 56, of South Windsor, beloved wife of the late Wayne V. Salminen Jr., died peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, in East Windsor.
The Guest Book is expired.
She was born on July 30, 1957, in Fairfield, daughter of the late James and Helene Tripp. Pamela was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School in 1975 and went on to graduate from Manchester Community College in 1986 with a degree in accounting. Pamela was an animal lover, who enjoyed spending time with her cats. She was a lifelong friend of Bill Wilson, recently celebrating her 25th year of sobriety. Pamela loved the beach and sun at Misquamacut beach, going away to Ogunquit, Maine, with Wayne who she loved so dearly. She loved going on cruises to the Caribbean with her family. She was a strong, resilient, woman who fought many battles during her short time here on earth, but throughout it all she remained a loving, caring, and devoted mother to her children. She will be greatly missed by all.
She leaves her three children, Katie Lauryn McClellan of Ellington, Megan Hope McClellan of South Windsor, and Michael M. McClellan of South Windsor; and her former husband and close friend, Clifford McClellan Jr. of South Windsor.
