Theresa Rush, 83, of Suffield, beloved wife of Stanley Rush, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2014.

Born in Hartford to the late Alexander and Clara (Zukowski) Radziewski, she lived courageously with a debilitating disease for the past several years. Her strength, fortitude, and positive attitude will continue to serve as an inspiration to all who knew her.
Theresa leaves her devoted husband, Stanley, who cared for her; and a daughter and son-in-law, Loretta and Carl Nelson. She doted on her four grandchildren and their families, Christopher Nelson and Marisa Almeida, Michael and Stephanie Nelson, Brian and Laura Nelson, and Katherine and John Miller; as well as three great-granddaughters, Cecilia, Evelyn, and Sydney. She also leaves her brother, Leonard Radziewski; her sister, Margaret Rybeck; close family members, Donuta and Norbert Kosiorek; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may gather at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at the Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St., Suffield, to follow in procession for a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 140 S. Main St. Suffield, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Suffield.
Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
