Carole "Sue" S. (Marx) Miller, 74, of Enfield, loving wife of the late Irvin E. Miller, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital with her family by her side.

Sue was born Feb. 12, 1940, in Flushing, N.Y., the daughter of the late Richard and Evelyn (Bloom) Marx. Sue retired from the former Specialty Retailing in Enfield in 1998 after many years. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, but her greatest joy was being a doting grandmother to her two grandchildren, Sydney and Sean Wilcox.
Sue is survived by her daughter, Debra Miller of Enfield; two loving grandchildren, Sydney and Sean Wilcox all of Enfield. She is also survived by a sister, Gail Sala of Charlestown, Mass.; three sisters-in-law, Maureen Marx of Charlestown, Mass., Susan Lewis, and her husband, Walter, of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Christine Brodie, and her husband, Brian; and several nieces and nephews. Sue was predeceased by her brother, Richard Marx Jr.
Relatives and friend are welcome to join the family on Sunday, April 13, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, with a funeral service beginning at 7 p.m. Burial for Sue will be held privately.
