Jeannette M. (Turner) DeVoe, 104, of East Windsor, widow of John DeVoe, passed peacefully Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Kettlebrook in East Windsor.

Born and raised in Enfield, Jeannette was the daughter of the late John and Daisey (Bower) Turner. She had lived in the Warehouse Point section of East Windsor for several years before moving to Maine where she and her husband lived for over 15 years. Jeannette later moved to Providence, R.I., before returning to East Windsor. She was formerly employed by G. Fox and Kresge Retail. Jeannette enjoyed crocheting and knitting, as well as growing flowers in her garden.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Fred Turner.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 14, at Windsorville Cemetery in Broad Brook.
