Mary E. (Sharp) Pearl, 90, of Ellington, formerly of Manchester, beloved wife of the late Everett Stephen Pearl, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014, at Manchester Manor with her family at her side.

Mary was born on April 2, 1924, in Carthage, N.Y., daughter of the late Clarence and Lillian (Barnett) Sharp. She attended local schools in New York and had been a resident of Manchester for over 50 years. Prior to her retirement in 1991, she was employed for over 18 years in the actuary department at Travelers Insurance Co. Mary was a former member of Order of Eastern Star, Temple Chapter 53.
She is survived by her five daughters, Donna Lippman, Lorna Ross, Sandra Pastore, Alma Graziani, and her husband, Edward, and Tonya Fleming, and her husband, William; her two sons, Walter Pearl, and his wife, Edith, and Charles Pearl, and his wife, Shela. Mary also leaves her 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a son, Robert Pearl.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at 1 p.m. in Section-F Westminster of East Cemetery, 240 E. Center St., Manchester.
