Helen (Menge) Michaels, 85, of Rockville, wife of William Michaels, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2014.

She was born Jan. 30, 1929, in Rockville, daughter of the late John and Anna (Hotra) Ray. She was a communicant of St. Bernard Church in Rockville and was on the Rockville Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by her loving son, Craig Menge of Windham; her stepchildren, Patricia, Deborah, Timothy, and William, and his wife, Pamela, and Peter, and his wife, Mary; and three grandchildren. She also leaves her sisters-in-law, Virginia Ray and Adelaide Campbell; as well as nieces and nephews, Frederick and Andrew Lyga, Frederick and Peter Ray, Barbara Powers, Raymond Zira, Ronald Campbell, and Trudy Bertram. She was predeceased by her first husband, Luther Menge; and her brothers, Andrew and Frederick Ray; and her sisters, Mary Lyga and Anna Zira.
Relatives and friends may join the family on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville.
A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, Rockville, with burial to follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Vernon.
