Antoinette C. (Siano) Halpin, 80, beloved wife of 60 years to Daniel P. Halpin of Somers, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford.

Born in New York, New York, on Dec. 10, 1933, daughter of the late Anello and Christine (Bruno) Siano, she had lived in Somers for 60 years. She was a devoted communicant of All Saints Church, Somers. Antoinette was a member of the Catholic Daughters and was a past member of the church's guild. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cooking.
In addition to her husband, Daniel, she leaves her children, Lisa Coope, and her husband, Thomas, Karen Alger, and her husband, Steven, Danna Krynowek, and her husband, Michael, and William Halpin; five adoring and loving grandchildren, Kara and Brian Coope, Daniel Halpin, and Bianca and Niko Krynowek; nieces and nephews; and Maggie, their dog.
Family and friends may gather, Saturday, May 3, at 8:30 a.m. at Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St., Somers, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m. at All Saints Church. Burial will follow at Somers Center Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends on Friday, May 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
