Charles J. Albani, 91, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and formerly of Windsor Locks, widower of Beverly (Hayden) Albani (1992), entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center in Florida.

The son of the late Pasquale and Severina (Raggio) Albani, Charles was born in Hartford and had lived in Windsor Locks for most of his life and had lived in Florida for over 10 years. A World War II veteran, he served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. While in Connecticut, he had worked at Kaman Aircraft for over 30 years before retiring and had been a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Riverside Council 26. In his free time, Charles enjoyed golfing as well as playing at the casinos.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Debbie Albani of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, Beverly, he was predeceased by a brother, John Albani; and two sisters, Ann Camiros and Alberta Viggiano.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9, at St. Mary Church in Windsor Locks. Please meet at church. Committal will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
