Alberta (Havely) Parsons, 74, of Bolton, beloved wife of the late Michael L. Parsons, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at her home.

Alberta was born in North Platte, Nebraska, on Nov. 14, 1939, to Hally and Opal (French) Havely and had been a resident of Bolton for most of her life. Prior to retiring, she was a secretary for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for more 20 years. Alberta was a devoted and longtime member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Manchester, serving on the vestry and the altar guild. She was also a member of the Bolton Republican Town Committee.
Alberta is survived her loving family, a daughter, Sara, and her husband, Mark Coffey, and their daughters, Meagan Coffey and Savannah Coffey of Brant Rock, Massachusetts; a son, Timothy Parsons, and his wife, Nancy, and their daughters, Zoe Parsons, Maia parsons, and Addy parsons of Weybridge, Vermont. Besides her husband, Alberta was predeceased by her parents.
A memorial service will be Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 41 Park St., Manchester. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
