Daniel Cleveland Bezanker, 70, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest, June 21, 2014. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 21 years, Jo-Ann (Maturo) Bezanker, in 2010.

Born Oct. 20, 1943, in Hartford, Daniel was the son of the William and Ruth (Patterson) Bezanker. A graduate of Glastonbury High School, he earned his associate's in computer science from Asnuntuck Community College. Daniel served for 33 years with the United States Air Force, and the Connecticut Air National Guard, retiring as a tech sergeant in 2003. An avid car enthusiast, Daniel was a member of the RPM's Car Club of Enfield, and a volunteer with the Knights of Columbus Cruise Night of Windsor Locks. He enjoyed visiting with his friends at the Senior Center and cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren.
Daniel is survived by his children, Bradford Bezanker of Rochester, New Hampshire, and Marian Rolocut of East Windsor; his stepchildren, Christine Gonyea, Tina Maturo, Carrie Levesque all of Somers and Daniel Rushlow; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He also leaves his brother, Paul Bezanker of Lake Toxaway, North Carolina; along with many cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels with the Rev. Thomas Calderone officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Somers Center Cemetery, Somers. Calling hours will be 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.
