Kathleen Jasak, 58, of Vernon, formerly of Manchester and East Hartford, died tragically from injuries sustained from an automobile accident on Wednesday, July, 2, 2014, in Vernon.

Kathleen was born on Dec. 8, 1955, in Manchester, daughter of Muriel (Turkington) Jasak of East Hartford and the late Henry P. Jasak. She was raised in East Hartford, attended local schools, and was a 1976 graduate of Penney High School. Kathleen was formerly employed for over 25 years as a computer analyst for Cigna in Bloomfield. She was a former member of the East Hartford Junior Women's Club.
In addition to her mother she leaves her daughter, Laura Jasak-Luther and her husband, JA Luther, of Vernon; her sister, Helen Bronson and her fiancé, Ted Wajda, of Vernon; her nephew, Paul Bronson of Vernon; her niece, Christina Bronson of South Windsor; her aunt, Hazel Turkington of South Windsor; and many cousins and wonderful friends. In addition to her father she was predeceased by her uncle, Milton Turkington.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014, at Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester, from 10 to 11 a.m., with a service to begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, East Hartford.
