Reginald J. Morin, 59, of South Windsor, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 14, 2014, at his home.

He was born on Aug. 12, 1954, in Hartford, the son of Olivette (Poulin) Morin Zieminski and the late Joseph E. Morin. He was a graduate of Glastonbury High School with the Class of 1972. Reginald worked for Pegasus Manufacturing in Middletown. He was a free spirit who enjoyed music, traveling, and spending time with friends.

Along with his mother, Olivette of Moodus, he leaves his brothers, Larry Morin, and his wife, Carol, of West Richland, Washington, and Raymond Morin of Portland; aunts and uncles, Rita and Bob Redicker of Clinton, Maine, Roland and Betty Poulin of East Hartford, Richard Poulin of Clinton, Elaine Gurney of Clinton, and Walter Poulin of Riverside, California; a niece, Crystal Morin of Richland; and a nephew, Michael Morin of Portland.

His family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.
