Born in Hartford to the late Walter Sr. and Charlotte (Drumm) Szepanski, she was raised in Windsor Locks and lived all her life there, graduating from Windsor Locks High School in 1972. Rosemary was a member of St. Roberts Church in Windsor Locks and worked as an account executive at Lesro Industries for many years. She was an avid stock car racing fan and wrote a column for the racing newspaper, as well as her own fictional short stories. She is survived by her brother, Walter Szepanski Jr., and his wife, Patricia, of Windsor; her nephews, Greg Szepanski, and his wife, Lisa, and daughter, Sarah, and Sean Crisitelli; her cousin, Cathy Patterson; and her dear friends, Karen English and Christina Brown.

Her family would like to express its gratitude to the hospice staff at St. Francis Hospital and Dr. Henry Schneiderman for their compassionate care of Rosemary.

Family and friends may gather at 9 a.m. Monday, July 28, at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, to process for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Gabriel Church, 379 Broad St., Windsor. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Windsor Locks.
