Jeanette Guastamachio, 86, formerly of South Windsor, died Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Kimberly Hall in Windsor.

She was born in Claremont, New Hampshire, the daughter of Herman and Rose Filion and had lived in South Windsor for 40 years and also Vernon and Manchester. She formerly worked at the Southern Auto Auction. Jeanette had been devoted to her Catholic religion for all of her life.
She is survived by her longtime friend, Bob Lambert; her daughter, Doria Pryor of South Windsor; her son, Richard Guastamachio; her grandchildren, Caralyn, Brittney, Jack, Colton, Emma; and her great-granddaughter, Mia. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Raymond, Richard, Gilbert, and Roger Filion.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at St. Mary Church, 32 Pearl St., Claremont, with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Claremont.
