Alan G. Dzurich, 71, beloved husband of Sharon (Rubbo) Dzurich of Windsor Locks, died Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at Hartford Hospital.

Born on June 13, 1943, in Hartford, son of the late Nicolas and Adeline (Pyznar) Dzurich and was a lifelong resident. He was employed at Dexter Corp., then Ahlstrom for 27 years. The thing Al treasured the most in his life was his family.
In addition to his wife, Sharon, he leaves two daughters, Kristina Dzurich Roland, and her husband, Edward, Kathleen Dzurich Walters, and her husband, Stephen; a grandson, Daniel Alan Roland; and a sister, Janice Dzurich Ouellette; a sister-in-law, Donna Frankl; and many loving nieces and nephews from the DeNovellis, Sheary, and McCann families.
Family and friends may gather on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 9 a.m. from Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 41 Spring St., Windsor Locks. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
His family will receive friends on Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
