Frances Lucy (DeCarlo) Calusine, 90, of East Hartford, loving wife of 67 years to the late John Calusine, peacefully passed away at her home Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014.

Born in Hartford on Feb. 7, 1924, a daughter of the late Raymond and Celeste (DiFuria) DeCarlo, she had been a resident of East Hartford for over 60 years. Prior to her retirement she was a cosmetician for many years at area stores. She was a longtime member of the Hillstown Grange in East Hartford and the South End Seniors of East Hartford.
Besides her beloved husband and parents, Frances was predeceased by her sister, Violunta Jenkins of Glastonbury, and her brother, Michael DeCarlo of Hartford.
Frances is survived by her loving nieces, Deborah Massa of Bristol, Mary DeCarlo of Bristol, Michelle DeCarlo of Newington, Patricia Bayne and her husband, Bill, of Burlington; two grandnieces, Cristina Bayne and Katherine Bayne, both of Burlington; one grandnephew, William Bayne III of Burlington; a special cousin, Antoinette DiFuria of Melbourne, Florida; and several other relatives and dear friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 15, at 10:30 a.m. at D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford. Burial will follow at Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home chapel Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30.
