It is with heartfelt sadness that our family mourns the passing of Annette J. Frechette. And, it is with the utmost joy we celebrate her life and our memories of her. Annette, beloved wife of Herman Frechette, slipped away quietly on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at Manchester Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Annette was born in West Springfield in 1932, and moved to Connecticut in 1960, where she worked as a real estate agent and lived for many years in Vernon, Coventry, and South Windsor. Famous for her love of antiques, which she called her "treasures," Annette lived for her family and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

Annette was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Beatrice Charpentier; her brothers, Roland and Robert; and her sister-in-law, Margaret. She is survived by her devoted brothers, Richard, and wife, Carol, Raymond, Russell, and wife, Camille; her children, Waldron Jr., and wife, Sonia, Mark, and wife, Antonia, Shawn, and wife, Michelle, and daughter, Ann, and husband, Sean; her former husband, Waldron Finnegan Sr.; her loving grandchildren, Olivia, Tamara, and husband, Tom, Jericho, Elisabeth, Galen, and husband, Lucas, Colin, Julian, and husband, Todd, Ethan, Leah, Annette, Mark, Sarah, Katherine, Trevor, and Sydney; her great-grandchildren, Caleb, Ella, Shaelyn, and Finnegan. Annette is remembered fondly by her best friends, Lucile Loiseau and Marie Weber.

Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers are gratefully appreciated sent to the Visiting Nurse & Health Services, North Central Services, 8 Keynote Drive, Vernon, CT 06066.

Family and friends are encouraged to join us at a graveside service in Precious Blood Cemetery on Route 33, Memorial Drive/ Willimansett Street, across from the Big Y in South Hadley, Mass., on Saturday, Jan. 9, at 11 a.m. For more information, call Ryder Funeral Home, 413-533-1735.

Grammie had a long life and was loved by her family. At the last, she passed away to a passionate chorus of "Amazing Grace" sung by one of her grandchildren, who are the real "Annette's treasures."
