Jeffrey Scott Spielman, 52, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at his home in Mt. Croghan, S.C.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Elizabeth Baptist Church, Ruby, S.C., with Rev. Dewayne Evans officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Interment will be at a later date, as his wishes were to be laid to rest with his mother in Ellington.
Jeff was born April 30, 1960, in Manchester, a son of Roy Donald Spielman and the late Marguerite Lands Spielman. He had worked in heavy equipment operating and owned and operated a golf ball recovery service.
Surviving are his wife, Shelley Howerton Spielman of the home; his daughters, Heather Spielman of Charlotte and Jena Spielman of Wadesboro; his grandchildren, Dylan, Tristan, Adilynn, and Cayden; his stepsons, Trenton Lambert and Austin Lambert, both of Mt. Croghan; his father and stepmother, Roy and Pat Spielman of Ruby; and his brothers, Roy Spielman Jr. of Casper, Wyo., Jim Spielman of Ellington, and Ron Spielman of Venice, Fla.
