Theresa Eleanor (Regan) Kurth, 80, of Enfield, a resident here over 20 years, died unexpectedly on Nov. 2, 2012. Theresa was the wife of Arnold Kurth.

She was born in Manhattan, N.Y., Sept. 26, 1932, the daughter of the late Joseph J. Jr. and Henrietta (Lane) Regan. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for many years as a teacher; teaching children was something she enjoyed doing. She also enjoyed going to the ocean in New Jersey and Maine. Her greatest passion was being a mother and grandmother. Those she leaves behind shall forever cherish her memory.
In addition to her husband of 27 years, Theresa leaves her five children, Kathy Klamka (Paul) of Phoenix, Ariz., Linda Maniscalchi (Lauren) of Southwick, Mass., Mary Katzman (Jerry) of Naperville, Ill., Kevin Kelly (LouAnn) of Tucson, Ariz., Brian Kelly (Marianne) of Meriden; a brother, Joseph Regan of Texas; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Allison, Caitlin, Matt, Kelly, Brian; several nieces, cousins, and friends.
Her family will welcome friends on Tuesday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of the Colonial Forastiere Home, 985 Main St., Agawam, Mass., 413-786-2600.
Funeral services will begin at 11:30 a.m. from the funeral home with a funeral procession to St. Andrew Episcopal Church, (Route 5), 335 Longmeadow St., Longmeadow, Mass., for a funeral ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow in New Cemetery, College Highway (Highway 202/10), Southwick.
