Lydia (Funk) Wogman, 99, of Cromwell, formerly of Manchester, widow of Clarence G. Wogman, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, in Cromwell, after an extended illness.

Lydia was born in Terryville on March 12, 1913, daughter of Edward and Otillia (Schultz) Funk. She was raised in Terryville, came to Manchester in 1937, and had been a resident of Cromwell since 2005. She was a longtime member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester and was a member of the church choir and woman's club. She held various salesperson and secretarial jobs, including the Alice Clampett Agency, M&M Oil Co., and the Norris Insurance Agency in Manchester.

She is survived by her son and daughter, the Rev. Lawrence N. Wogman, and his wife, Nancy Wogman, of West Ossipee, N.H.; and Joyce W. Bagnall, and her husband, the Rev. Ronald Bagnall, of Farmingdale, Maine; seven grandchildren, Karin Bagnall, Jon-Mark Bagnall, David Bagnall, and his wife, Jennyfer, all of New York City, Sarah and Robin Farrow of London, England, Kristen and Jonathan Bagnall of Trumbull, Peter and Stephine Wogman of New Haven, and Andrew Wogman of Farmington, all in Connecticut; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Lydia was predeceased by four sisters and a brother.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, 60 Church St., Manchester. Burial will follow in the East Cemetery in Manchester.

There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Emanuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
