Mary V. (Cersosimo) Kumnick, 84, of West Hartford, beloved wife of the late John Andrew Kumnick, and the beloved mother of John J. Kumnick, and his wife, La Juana Davis, of Kennebunk, Maine, and Keith J. Kumnick, and his wife, Lynne, of South Windsor; died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012.

She was born in Hartford, the daughter of the late James and Sue (Francoline) Cersosimo, and resided in Hartford for most of her life and was a communicant of St. Augustine Church.

Besides her sons and daughters-in-law, she is survived by her grandchildren, Dylan Kumnick, Sean Kumnick, and Lauren Kumnick; and her brother, Louis Cersosimo, and his wife, Lorraine, of Florida; her aunt, Agnese Pine-Stafford; her sister-in-law, Rose Heim-Westbrook; her many nieces and nephews; and many friends at the Court of St. James. Mary was predeceased by her sister, Dr. Rosemary Fogg.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 28, at 11 a.m. directly at St. Augustine Church, Hartford. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Fisette-Batzner Funeral Home at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington.
