Goldie V. Hamilton, 92, of West Brookfield, Mass., and formerly of Wales, Mass., wife of the late Everett R. Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012, at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in West Brookfield.

She was born in Palmyra, Maine, daughter of the late George and Laura (Estes) Field. Goldie retired as a nurse's aide from Johnson Memorial Hospital, and was a member of the Palmer Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.

Goldie is survived by her five grandchildren, Rhonda Shaw and her husband, Kevin, Donald Peterson and his wife, Lesliemarie, Michael Peterson and his wife, Pam, Ronald Peterson, Jr., and Margaret Boyle; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce Braley; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Ronald Peterson and his wife, Hazel; and 11 siblings.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2012, at 3 p.m. at the Palmer Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 133 Old Palmer Road, Brimfield, Mass. Burial will be held privately in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs.
