Elaine Marie (Therrien) Moreau, 68, a resident of Enfield for most of her life, died late Sunday afternoon, Jan. 27, 2013, at Chestnut Point Health Care Center of East Windsor surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Hartford, a daughter of the late Paul and Yvette (Oullette) Therrien. Elaine was employed for several years in the customer service department of the Jonathan Harland Checking & Printing Co. of Enfield, as well as formerly being employed at the Enfield Stop & Shop. She was a communicant of St. Martha Church and a former CCD teacher for many years. Some of her favorite pastimes included spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as knitting and crocheting.
She leaves her four loving sons, Timothy P. Moreau, and his wife, Lesa, Patrick H. Moreau, and his wife, Stacy, and Christopher G. Moreau, all of Enfield, and Michael A. Moreau of Ellington; her former husband, Eugene G. Moreau of Enfield; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. A calling hour will precede her funeral on Thursday from 5 to 6 p.m. Burial will be private.
