Marion Frances (Jacobs) Goodrich, 94, of East Hartford, beloved wife of the late Robert Goodrich, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Jan. 22, 2013, at the Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Bristol to the late Bertha and Arthur Goodrich, Marion lived in Plainville for many years prior to moving to East Hartford. Marion was a resident at Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center for many years and prior to living there was a volunteer at the facility.
She leaves an only child, Robyn Goodrich of Ithaca, N.Y.; a granddaughter, Lesley Gibbs, and her husband, Michael, of Clinton; six great-grandchildren, one great-grandson-in-law, and many friends.
Marion loved all the wonderful activities provided by the recreation department at Riverside and attended many of them. Marion was a longtime member of First Congregational Church of East Hartford. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and her wonderful zest for life.
Marion's family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at Riverside for their loving care.

A memorial service at First Congregational Church of East Hartford, 837 Main St., East Hartford, will be held on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at 10 a.m. Private burial will be in West Cemetery, Plainville.
Memorial contributions in Marion's name may be made to the Recreation Department, Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center, 745 Main St., East Hartford, CT 06108, or First Congregational Church of East Hartford.
