Arlene Edna Lynch, 71, of Enfield, widow of Merrill F. Lynch, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Feb. 20, 2013, at Parkway Pavilion.

She was born on Dec. 28, 1941, in Madawaska, Maine to the late Edwin and Bernadette (Lausier) Chasse. Arlene resided in the Thompsonville section of Enfield for most of her life, and, following her husband's passing, she moved to Jupiter, Fla. In 2004 she returned to the Enfield area. Arlene was employed at Lego for several years following her job at Olympic Sales. She was a communicant of St. Adalbert Church in Enfield. Arlene enjoyed reading and especially crossword puzzles. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Arlene leaves behind her lovely children, Patrick M. Lynch and his wife, Jacqueline, of Enfield; Merrill F. Lynch, Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Cleveland, Ohio; Colleen A. Scavotto and her husband, Tony, of Enfield; Kelly Smith and her husband, Geoffrey, of Enfield; Kathleen DeGray and her husband, Garry, of Enfield; and Joan Zapatka of New Britain. She also leaves behind a brother, Paul Chasse and his wife, Mary of Florida; four sisters, Gloria Slattery of Georgia; Bernadette Clark of Florida; Laurette Morrisey and her husband, Dave, of Wisconsin; and Agathe Martin and her husband, Robert, of Florida. Arlene leaves behind 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; a special caregiver, Susan Smith; and her canine companion "CJ." Arlene was predeceased by a sister, Theresa Gendreau.

A memorial Mass will be held at St. Adalbert Church on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at 11 a.m. Burial is private.
