Eva D. (Waicunas) Chapps, 88, of Windsor, wife of the late George A. Chapps, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 22, 2013, at Kimberly Hall in Windsor.

Eva was born Jan. 13, 1925, in Windsor, the daughter of the late Simon and Magdalena (Kasalowsks) Waicunas. Eva enjoyed reading a good book and gardening.

She is survived by her three children, Gary Chapps, and his wife, Robin, of East Hampton, Kerry Chapps, and his wife, Deborah, of Windsor Locks and Sandy Steele of East Hartford. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeremiah Steele, and his wife, Karen, of Fort Drum, N.Y., Shawn Chapps of Enfield, Christopher Chapps, and his wife, Keri, of Old Saybrook, Luke Chapps, and his wife, Christine, of Manchester, Joshua Chapps, and his wife, Melissa, of Niantic, Kasey Chapps, and his wife, Taren, of Ellington, Matthew Westall, and his wife, Ruthann, of Ohio, Nate Westall, and his wife, Wendy, of Stafford Springs, Megan Westall and Nick Westall, both of Sturbridge, Mass., and Alana Graham of New York, N.Y.; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Katelyn, Lorelei, Carina, Dylan, and Jackson Chapps, Shelby, Hailey, Tate, and Aaron Westall, Jacob and Aubrey Steele. Eva was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Westall, and all her siblings.

Relatives and friends can join the family on Thursday, March 28, 2013, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
