Noreen H. Miltner, 89, of Enfield, entered peacefully into eternal rest Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2013, at her home.

The daughter of the late William and Mary (Hindle) Miltner, Noreen was born in Suffield and had lived in Enfield most of her life. She was a registered nurse employed at Mercy Hospital, retiring after 41 years as assistant director of nursing. She was a former member of United Presbyterian Church and then attended Calvary Presbyterian Church where she was a deacon. Noreen was a true caregiver at heart and was very close to her sisters and family.
Besides her sister, Sheila, she is survived by a nephew, William Kerlick and wife, Cathy, of Arkansas; a niece, Karla Ann Kerlick, and her son, Michael Kerlick, of California; a nephew, Chris Kerlick, and his wife, Rosa, of California, and their son, Kael Kerlick, of Delaware; Keith Kerlick, and his wife, Barbara, of Arkansas, and their daughter, Maria Ann Kerlick, of Georgia; great-nephews, Anthony Kerlick of Nevada, Levi and Noah Kerlick, and a great-niece, Elizabeth Kerlick of Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Miltner Kerlick; a brother, William Miltner; and nephews, Walter and Kurt Kerlick.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2013, at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 1518 King St., Enfield. Burial will follow at Thompsonville Cemetery.
