Jeanne M. (Paradis) Albert, 83, of South Windsor, beloved wife of the late Bertrand N. Albert, died Monday, November 19, 2007, at Hartford Hospital.

Born in Winterville, Maine, on October 14, 1924, daughter of the late Louis G. and Denise (Doustou) Paradis, she had lived in East Hartford for most of her life before moving to South Windsor four years ago with her daughter.
She leaves her children, Arlene Albert of Wethersfield, Lucienne Fisher of South Windsor, Norman Albert of Colchester and Ronald Albert of Rockville; three brothers, Adrien Paradis and his wife, Shirley, of East Hartford, Herman Paradis and his wife, Viola, in Maine, and Lionel Paradis and his wife, Shirlene, in Maine; a sister, Anita Myshrall of East Hartford; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews, and many good friends. She was predeceased by five sisters and three brothers.
She loved cooking and making phone calls to make sure everyone was alright, to share a little laughter and to make sure they had a good day. Jeanne enjoyed going for rides and enjoying the scenery. She will surely be missed by all who loved her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 10 a.m., at St. Margaret Mary Church, 80 Hayes Road, South Windsor. Burial will follow in Wapping Cemetery, South Windsor.
Her family will receive friends today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor.
