ROBERT 'BOB' WILLIAM HEILMAN, 88 LENA - Robert "Bob" William Heilman, 88, of Lena, died May 19, 2013, at the Monroe Manor in Monroe, Wis. He was born August 22, 1924, in Ridott, the son of William and Lillian "Violet" (Lange) Heilman. He married Phyllis Biesemeier on November 26, 1949. Phyllis passed on October 17, 1973. He married Dolores L. (Wohlford) Fritzenmeier on June 21, 1975. Bob graduated from Freeport High School in 1942. He farmed all his working years on various farms in Ridott, Bailyville, Davis and Lena. Bob's memberships included St. John United Church of Christ in Freeport, Lena Lions Club, Masons, Highland Community College Foundation, Farm Bureau, Production Credit Association and others. He is survived by his son, Craig (Faye) Heilman, of Lena, their children, Ashley of Freeport, Austin and Brock, of Lena; His extended family through marriage with Dolores, daughters, Diane (Cliff) Vowles, of Rock City, Cindy (Dennis Freed) Fritzenmeier, of Roanoke, Texas; son, Mark (Pam) Fritzenmeier, of Edelstien; grandchildren, Brian Vowels, of Rock City, Michele Hand, of Geneva, Jennifer (Tony Cimino) Vowels, of Grapevine, Texas, Melissa (Dean) Adamczyk, of Geneva, Sarah Freed, of New York, Jacob Freed, of Roanoke, Monica (Karl) Kirsch, Sandra, Dustin, and Ted Fritzenmeier, all of Edelstien; great-grandchildren, Stephen Vowles, of Grapevine, Alexis and Tyler Hand, and Lilah and Carter Adamczyk, all of Geneva; and brother, Donald (Lee) Heilman. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Eleanor; wives, Phyllis and Dolores; grandson-in-law, Thomas Hand. Services will be at 11 a.m. at Leamon Funeral Home in Lena on Thursday, May 23. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., on Wednesday, May 22, at the Leamon Funeral Home. Fellowship and luncheon will follow the funeral service on Thursday at the Lena Community Center in Lena. Private family burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL. A memorial has been established in his name. Friends may send condolences to the family at www.leamonfh.com.
