JACQUELINE D. RAWSON, 91 FREEPORT - Jacqueline D. Rawson, 91, of Freeport, died Thursday, May 16, 2013, at her home. Born June 15, 1921, in Racine, Wisconsin; she was the daughter of Ralph and Esther (Groenke) Gerken. She married Edward Rawson September 12, 1942. Jacqueline worked for BHL, FHN Memorial Hospital, and E&W Clothing. Surviving is her husband, Edward of Freeport; her children, Jim (Bonnie) Rawson of Naples, Florida, Ron (Bonnie) Rawson of Fort Meyer, Florida, and Pam (Steve) Holder of Freeport; her sister, Nancy Christensen of Racine, Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Mike (Christy) Bastian of Woodland, Texas, Audra (Del Wasso) Bastian of Freeport, Lindsey (David) Lin of California, James (Hanna) Rawson of Louisville, Kentucky, Jennifer Rawson, Jeffery Rawson, Kris (Jody) Rawson of Pecatonica, Spencer (Shannon) Rawson of Rockford, Adam (Jennifer) Holder, Sarah (Charles) Williams, and Allison (Todd) Slama, all of Freeport; and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 children, Penny and Greg Rawson. Private family only services will be held. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
