PHYLLIS TUCKER BOLDUC, 98 FREEPORT - Phyllis Tucker Bolduc, 98 yrs. old, of Freeport our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away at Freeport Memorial Hospital on Sat., Feb. 22, 2014. She was born in Rock Rapids, IA on Nov., 4, 1915 the daughter of William and Lusetta (Mease) Watson. She graduated from Freeport High School and attended Hunter College in NY. She married Cecil A Tucker in Cincinnati, OH in 1946; later Milton J. Bolduc in Freeport in 1956. Phyllis was a telephone operator at Northwestern Telephone Co., a records clerk at Stephenson county court house, she also worked at the Merry-Go-Round in Krape Park; she retired from Micro switch after 18 yrs. Phyllis was a church member of the First Church of Christ Scientist. She began serving as a US Navy Wave in the military service in 1943. She was a member of the Audubon Society. She loved to travel visiting Guam, Hawaii, Australia, Spain, and many other U.S. locations. She was as member of senior citizens exercise group, an avid reader; she loved movies and was a regular at Taco Bell. Phyllis is survived by her 6 children, Marci Tucker Hanson (David) of Clinton TN, Priscilla (Tucker) Osborne of Mt. Morris IL, Sherry Tucker Horner of Nashville TN, Connie Tucker Mahoney (Charles) of Woodland Park Co, Cindy Bolduc Hughes (Calvin) Evans GA, Steven Bolduc (Teresa) Springfield VA; grandchildren, Elizabeth Hanson, Lydia (Cody) Wright, Anna (Steven) Tramell, Mark and Jason (Senia) Osborne, Chase and Tess Mahoney, Matt, Phillip (Camille), Alyssa (Christopher) Stutzman, Daniel and Jared Hughes; great-grandchildren, Evan, Archer, and Logan Wright, Jacob and Danielle Osborne, Andrew and Sofia Osborne, Natalie Stutzman, Amelia and Navie Tramell; sister, Priscilla (Robert) Knodle of Freeport; nieces and nephews, Gerald , William, Martin, Holly Griese Boyer Linda Knodle, Laurie Janrilejio Boyer. She is preceded by her parents; sisters, Geraldine Boyer, Virginia Keller; nephews, David Boyer, Kirk Knodle; niece, Kathy Knodle Suess; and beloved Kitties, Totsie, Shadow and Kitten. Services 12 noon, Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at the Schwarz Park Blvd. Chapel 608 S. Park Blvd. Freeport, IL. Interment will be at the Oakland Cemetery in Freeport.
