DALE BROSHOUS, 56 LENA - Dale Broshous, 56, of Lena, formerly of Stockton and Freeport, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. Dale was born on Nov. 4, 1956, in Freeport to Elwood and Marjorie (Raab) Broshous. Having worked as a plumber earlier in life, Dale became a well known bartender in the Freeport area, where he made many good friends. Surviving are his daughter, Jackie (Mark) Ernst and grandson, Trey; his brothers, Danny, Roger, Jim, Warren, Dave, Mark, Rich, and Greg; one sister, Diana (Terry) Larson; and many extended family members. Preceding him in death were his parents and his brothers, Ron and Jerry. A special thanks to God's Angels of Hospice Care of America and the staff at Schwarz Funeral Home. Rest In Peace. At Dale's request, there will be no funeral or visitation. Cremation rites were provided by Schwarz Funeral Home of Freeport. Burial of his cremains will be in Morseville Cemetery, southeast of Stockton, at a later date. Private condolences and online guestbook may be signed at www.schwarzfh.com.
