JEROME L. SKUTT, 66 WEYERHAEUSER, Wis. - Jerome L. Skutt, age 66, of Weyerhaeuser, WI, died on Wednesday, October 16th, 2013 at Weyerhaeuser, WI. He was born October 30, 1946, the son of Frank Sr. and Mary (Muhich) Skutt. He was a 1964 graduate of Hennepin High School. Jerome married Wendy Pieper July 7, 1973, in Freeport, IL. He had served in the U.S. Army from 1965 to 1968, and had received the Bronze Star with Valor during his one year tour in Vietnam. He retired form the Wisconsin National Guard. Jerome was a lifetime member of the Weyerhaeuser VFW. He loved sports, fishing, hunting, and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers fan. He is survived by his wife, Wendy; a son, Jason Skutt of Hudson, WI; 3 grandsons, Jackson, Jayden and Jonathan; 2 bothers and 1 sister, Frank (Mary) Skutt, Jr of Warren, IL, Eugene (Ruth) Skutt and Evelyn (Paul) Bronkema, both of Stockton, IL. A Graveside Military Burial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 26, at the Morrisville Cemetery in Stockton, IL, with VFW Post 1304 of Stockton providing the salute.
