LINDA M. BURMA, 62 BROWNTOWN, WI - Linda M. Burma, 62, of rural Browntown, died Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at her home. She was born June 8, 1952, in Harvard, IL; the daughter of Lester and Dorothy (Kendall) Jacobs. Linda was a graduate of Harvard High School. Linda and Kenneth Burma were married on April 28, 1973, in Harvard, IL. Linda was a secretary for Winslow Industries and farmed with her husband, Ken, helping with milking and chores. Linda is a member of Peace Church in Christ, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Winslow. Linda is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Browntown; son, Brian (Kathy) Burma of Hudson, WI; daughter, Christine (Clayton) Ruegsegger of Browntown; brothers, Steve (Kim) Jacobs, Ronnie (Sherey) Jacobs, and Raymond Jacobs; sisters, Pat (Ben) Vanderpal and Judie (Hugh) Flagan; several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents; sister, Barb Hutchinson; and brother, Lester Gordon Jacobs. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014, at Peace Church in Christ in Browntown, with Pastor Wayne Gregory officiating. Burial will follow at Saucerman Cemetery. A visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, September 12, at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home in Monroe. A memorial fund is being established in Linda's memory.
