I worked with Dave while we were both grad students in the Dept of Biochemistry at Purdue. We worked in the lab of the Indiana state Chemist I recall on Monday mornings we would always discuss the NFL games of the previous day. Great co-worker. My condolences to the family

I am shocked and very saddened to learn of dav's passing, and my sincere condolences go out to Alice and their family. He was a strong supporter of the Midland County Historical Society, and they truly loved history and antiques, and the friendships that developed around them. Dave was a good friend, and he will be missed.

My deep sympathy to the family for your loss - but perhaps try to hold on to the thought that he is now singing for his Lord with angels. I enjoyed singing with him and too will miss him...

I am so glad uncle dave was in my life. What I remember the most is how he always had such a kind smile and gentle voice. Whenever we visited, there were kids EVERYWHERE yet he took the time to tell great stories and always made me feel like he wanted to hear mine. He was such a special person and I can't help but smile when I think of him.
