Lois M. Arsand

OAK CREEK - Lois M Arsand, formerly of Racine, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, November 14, 2011. A longtime resident of Oak Creek, Lois was a very active charter member of All Saints Lutheran Church, the Oak Creek Lionettes (received the Melvin Jones Fellow Award for dedication to service), ASWA, Cudahy BPW, and the Oak Creek and Caledonia Historical Societies. She gave generously of her time and resources. Lois was an avid golfer, bicyclist, and hiker, who completed many sections of the Appalachian Trail. She enjoyed attending Wisconsin Badger football games. Survivors include her daughter, Patti (Jim) Holzman; son-in-law, Dave Voss; brother, Robert (Arline) Nelson; grandchildren, Kelly Voss and Nathan, Dustin, and Johanna Holzman; great- grandchildren, Tristan Stieber Voss and Aubrey Holzman; dear friend, Al Cobbs; cousins and many dear friends. Reunited with her parents, Marie and Godfrey Nelson; husband, Marvin; and and daughter, Gail. Visitation Saturday, November 19, 2011, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at All Saints Lutheran Church, 9131 South Howell Avenue, Oak Creek, with Memorial service at 1 p.m. Private interment.
