Marilyn J. Wildfong

STURTEVANT - Marilyn J. Wildfong, 64, passed away on June 29, 2013 after an eighteen year struggle with breast cancer. She was born April 20, 1949 to Jay and Jane (nee Wendorf) Wildfong in Michigan. Marilyn had worked at the Graham Public Library in Union Grove. After that, Marilyn was an LPN at Boland Hall of the Veterans Nursing Home in Union Grove for many years. She was a member of the State of Wisconsin Nurses’ Union. Marilyn was a leader for the Union Grove 4H Chapter. She enjoyed knitting and making jewelry and bracelets in her spare time. A loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister; Marilyn was devoted to her family and always made time for them. Her absence will be greatly felt. Marilyn is survived by her children, Timothy Brouwers, Jeffrey Brouwers, Christopher (Melissa) Brouwers, and Mark (Erin) Brouwers; her grandchildren, Ashley, Zach, Dylan Brouwers, and Joe, Bailey, and Libby; her parents, Jay and Jane Wildfong; her siblings, J.D. (Rochell) Wildfong and Rochelle “Teeny” (Jack) Wildfong; her best-friend, Karen (Ron) Wampole; and nieces, nephews, and other loving friends. A memorial service will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 5-7 pm. Thank you for years of caring and support from Dr. Engle and staff and all the care staff at the Cancer Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family to offset years of medical expenses would be appreciated.
