Norbert J. Nitka

Norbert J. Nitka Norbert J. Nitka, 85, of Waterford, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee, He was born December 24, 1927 in Green Bay to Frank and Verna (nee Krerowicz) Nitka. He lived his early life in Green Bay where he attended school before going onto University of Wisconsin, Madison where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Applied Math and Mechanics. On May 29, 1954 he was united in marriage to Marilyn Arlene Noll at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church in Burlington, and they have remained members there ever since. He was employed as an engineer of hydraulic control systems for Oilgear Co. He was a M.E.N.S.A. member. He served in the Army/Air Force from 1946 to 1949. Norbert is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marilyn; two sons, David (Rebecca Wong) Nitka and Daniel Nitka; and one brother, Frank (Jackie) Nitka. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary (Robert) Younkle. Memorials have been suggested to The Salvation Army, 248 S.
