KENOSHA - Dorothy Fredericksen, 88, died Monday, February 20, 2006, at her residence. Born on January 4, 1918, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Jennie (nee: Krotje) Terpstra Sr. She attended school in Oak Creek. She worked as a Cook at local restaurants and was an Aide with Jelco Bus. She attended First Christian Church and was a member of the Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed playing Bingo, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Gene Fredericksen of Channing, Mich., Robert (Ruth) Fredericksen of Georgetown, Texas, Karen (Brian) Gross of Kenosha, Sandra Kempfer of Westchester, Ill., Ronald (Michelle) Fredericksen of Racine, Gail (Kenneth) Diel of Kenosha, and Nancy (Roger) Johnson Sr. of Winthrop Harbor, Ill.; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Fredericksen of Wittenberg; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Allen Fredericksen; three grandsons, Timothy, Scott, and Don; and granddaughter, Tammy. Funeral services will be held at First Christian Church, 13022 Wilmot Road, on Friday, February 24, 2006, at 11 a.m. Interment in West Lawn Cemetery will be private. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
