. WATERFORD - Magnus Max Unser, Jr., 60, was killed in a motorcycle accident on his way to Sturgis, South Dakota on Monday, August 5, 2013. He was born April 1, 1953 to Magnus, Sr. and Tillie (nee Jahner) Unser in North Dakota. He graduated from Emmons Central High School in Strausburg, ND. Max supported his family working as an Electrical Engineer for GM-Delphi, and SC Johnson Wax. Max was a proud National Guard Veteran. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle, collected Harley memorabilia, and was a member of the Kettle Morraine Chapter of HOG. Family was of utmost importance to him and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Max is survived by his son, Joshua (Tamara); his grandchildren, Alina Ruth and Zachary Magnus Unser; his former wife, Debra; his mother, Tillie; his siblings, Darlene Bohmann, Evelyn Kelsch, Edward, Kathy (Dennis) Scrima, Terri (Harry) Miels, and Frank (Beth); and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Max was preceded in death by his father, Magnus, Sr; his sisters, Delores Elijah and Linda; and his brother-in-law, Leroy Kelsch. Visitation will be held at St. Ritas Church, 4339 Douglas Avenue, Racine, on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 9 -11 am. Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Fr. Kevin will begin at 11 am. Burial with full military honors will immediately follow at Country Haven Cemetery.
